just finished re2 1998

good game! was surprisingly engaging with it's exploration and gameplay. no matter how scared i was, i couldn't put the controller down.

the tank controls didn't bother me at all. in fact, i liked them. i just adapted to it well, i guess. gun play was also fun, especially messing around with claire's grenade launcher. 

speaking of claire... i think i liked her route the best. it was way more chaotic with mr.x occasionally chasing you around and stuff, always keeping you on your toes. plus, you get to hang out with sherry!

the thing i think i loved the most about re2 was the item collection, tbh. the little hoarder inside of me loved spam clicking x to pick up any stray green herbs or ammo, picking every room clean. my item box was stacked by the time i fought the final boss.

anyways, does anybody have any non-popular survival horror recommendations? i heard alisa and conscript were pretty good.
