How can I fix my messed up hair?

So yesterday I tried to dye my hair, bleaching it first and then dyeing it. The thing is though, the bleach didn't take so well so it was still pretty yellowish, while the dye was light purple. They canceled each other out, leaving me looking more grey than purple; some of the parts took the dye better like the roots. 

So now I'm stuck with mostly grey hair that has a tint of purple until I lift it and the nape of my hair is bright lilac. What do I do? Should I just try dyeing it purple with the same dye and see if the color stays better? Or should I just rebleach my hair in a month and try it all over again?
