Columbus sports power rankings

Being from Columbus, I follow quite a few teams from the city regularly. So I decided why not rank them?

1 - Columbus Crew

Of course, the Crew is number 1 by miles. They pretty much have been for an entire year. Following last nights 4-0 win against vs New England (admittedly not impressive, but with missing so many players, it's slightly more impressive), they have set a club record for wins in a single season and are guaranteed the 2nd seed in the already powerful Eastern Conference.

2 - Ohio State Basketball

The only one to not play yet, but through Jake Diebler and a returning Bruce Thornton, who is one of the best Point Guards in the country, they will most likely improve from last years fairly successful season. I don't think they'll be contenders, but I at least think they'll make March Madness for the first time since 2021.

3 - Columbus Blue Jackets

The Blue Jackets are pretty close to Ohio State Basketball. I feel like for now, until OSU Basketball proves to not be great, then the Jackets will just barely be below them. Nowhere near the best team in the NHL, but with a young core and a new coach, they will surely improve. And last nights win against Colorado showed that improvement.

4 - Ry*n D*y's team

Ryan Day has once again proved that he can't win with all the talent he is blessed with. Ohio State fell to Oregon last night due to bad clock management and play calling, and also because of Denzel Burnt (please revoke his scholarship). Ohio State could maybe win the rest of their games (Probably gonna lose to Penn State) and make the playoffs, but I know that as soon as they have to face Texas or Georgia or Alabama, Day is gonna shit the bed once again and waste another season. For as long as he is coach, Ohio State will make it nowhere.
