this is crazy bc i planned to do better 4 this school year

during the summer i planned to romanticize my 3rd year in highschool cuz i wanted to be like better than my previous years but oh god it turned out so bad bc what the FUCK does the education system have against 9th graders like there r quizzes evryday and esp/humanities turned into history/araling panlipunan class and history now has MATH?!?!?

our first quarter was ass tbh it made me h8 english even though it used to be one of the classes i do my best in now the teachers pretty strict in general like even the highest academic acheivers in the whole grade 9 couldn't get highest honnors bc of english that pulled their average down (u need to get like 97-100 to get highest honnors) and like a handful got highest honnors last yr like ik them as a classmate and they truly executed the class incredibly but dude whatever tf is happening now is like 💀💀

n like out ict teacher (computer education if u dont know what that is) i think uses AI in their lessons bc theres sm info but theres no notable info in their presentations its like when u decorate a project sm u forget the actual content and he want to do projects in groiups bc he doesnt wanna grade too many works like.. maybe im the only one dissing this idea bc im one of the like 5 ppl in my class who r good at art n there r 25 ppl in the class so its kinda tiring to manage especially since i didn't even wanna b a group leader in the first place 

[in our last project in ict i was made a leader bc i got the top scores in an assignment n i js didnt like it at all lmao n also bc my leadership skills r ass n also i dont have any so im strugging rn]

and one thing that pisses me off sm is how strict the school is w bringing ur phone like before we can even get INSIDE the school u gotta go through security check so they can check whether u brought ur phone or not and if ur seen w ur phone inside the campus whether are you using it or not it gets taken away 

but what is rlly insane is that recently they held an UNANNOUNCED BAG CHECK which meant rhey went in the classroom and checked evry1's bags w/o warning to see if anyone snuck their phone into school like a VAST MAJORITY COMMUTE/WALK TO SCHOOL AND BACK which meant they NEEDED a mode of contact for their parents bc who knows what might happen when their out

(also there was a homeless guy who threatened to attack students so js a lil example of a safety threat that actually exists <3)

like do they fucking think we'll post shit and say "hi! im a student of this school and i fuck around n do crimes bc im a student here!"

and speaking abt that they expect us and have told us repeatedly to follow the rules of the school even OUTSIDE OF THE CAMPUS in order to give the school a good name and not tarnish its reputation

like... we're at the mall, park, resturaunt, wherever the fuck we can go and you think a kid smoking a joint or shii is related to what the school teaches them???? if i saw a student in uniform sniffing lines i wouldn't think for a second abt how the kid's doing academically js 'damn, coke at 13, must be rough for the guy' and go abt my day but the thing is their biggest concern is about PDA like the FUCK do you care about a student's romantic relationship their relationship is literally better than ur marrige lmao like a student is a student when they are enrolled in an education program but it does not mean that their sole purpose and focus is academics like we have friends, online n offline, some even have shii to deal with that cant be fucking 'talked out' like family, financials, emotional n mental
