i will never forgive the internet for completely destroying what "loving like a dog means"

it isnt JUST loving someone unconditionally, its not being able to be left to your own devices because what are you if you aren't constantly loving, its the feeling of not being able to function without the tiniest bit of love and attention, you'll get your tail stepped on and wag it more to show you're un-phased, no matter how badly you've been hurt you'll always crawl back just for that little bit of familiar attention and love, you'll completely destroy yourself just for other peoples short lived amusement, you'll put your entire soul and being into people. you aren't a cute lap dog, you're a mutt.
