I decided to buy a camera

Hello.

Im turning 18 soon.

And Im scared.

Of forgetting.

Im scared Ill forget everything. Diagnosies that tie to memory loss have plagued my family for many generations. Ive seen what it does to a person, what it does to the people around you. I dont want that to happen to me.

So, I decided to buy a camera.

I know, I know. Of course I can just record videos from my life on my phone.

But there is something more personal about owning a camera. Taking it everywhere, making it a staple in your everyday items.

So, Ill buy a camera.

Ill record the good. The bad. The mundane. The happy. The sad. The pretty. The ugly.

Ill record my life.

So when Ill feel memories begining to slip through my fingers, Ill always have something to return to.
