I always forget how long ago the intrusive thoughts episode was, still pretty proud of this one, especially the composition!

 don't have much to say on this one, the snake texture is done pretty well, and I like the expression even if it's inaccurate to the ref



it's weird thinking back to a time I didn't know anything about painting, honestly just needed to stop blending


I can so clearly see what I was going for but the anatomy was just a bit too far behind. I think the outfit design mostly still holds up, and the hands making progress (・◡・;)


the switch up to me now accidentally making characters too muscular could be studied

I'm actually planning on doing a similar mask thing for my Halloween costume this year! but blue 'cause its Pokotho (Hatchetfield universe, Team Starkid)
still kept making my shading too soft- I was so scared to commit to having any contrast


RAINBOWS! I think this person was part of my introduction to decora fashion! I kept the sketch visible and I think that's giving most of the definition my shading style was severely lacking!

there he is :3, there's still some changes I made far more recently, kinda forgot his vitiligo started as a birth mark! but overall he's been pretty consistent!

no idea what I was going for with the shirt graphic, begging my past self to do some pose and anatomy studies, otherwise I like the face, always where I put the most effort

Jesus my eyes! I was experimenting a lot with blending modes and shading and this was... a result? other than the filter hell I think the anatomy and composition are great!

oh she looks drunk- not sure what I was trying but I can tell it was intentional for some reason?

I think I forgot? to put the cast shadow on overlay?

I love drawing poses where the shirt rides up a lil' it always makes the silhouette way more interesting. another time I really could've pushed the pose but left it weirdly relaxed

back to my girls <3 this was really pushing my comfort zone in so many ways and I'm proud of myself for trying, even if the background is wonky there is on, even if the foreshortening is wrong it's still there, even if they're not actually touching theres still an intention of interaction

the shading in this one works well with the coloured lineart, Idk how I got her body type so wrong, the sweater hides it ok though. and her leg is broken as fuck XD

I mainly did this to try and learn to better draw characters sitting down. funnily enough the simple style actually works way better than some of the stuff I put way more effort into

ACTUAL interaction! there are a few ways I'd make this way less flat now but generally nice! it captures the feel I wanted regardless

once again most I can say is that I was way too soft in the shading-

this fucker has had SO MUCH character and story development since I made him, and it's kinda cool how he actually looks way older now (in the story where he's alive)

I kinda forgot what his original design looked like for ages, I think I'm gonna at least make his hair way curlier again (though it would be funny if his emo ass straightens it)

and now we see as Teddy slowly morphs into her final form!

so much clashing- the teef are fun but now I'd want to make them make anatomical sense at least

petticoat is well textured! I still didn't quite have the hang of drawing character's interacting and backgrounds but way better

definitely used HEAVY reference maybe tracing for those hands, (and that helped me learn). that texture brush had quite the grip on me why is she covered in glitter?!

so I continue to discover my love for back-lighting :P

there was a bit of a trend around of randomizing a picrew and making it a charater, I really did not know what to do witht he fringe around the horn so i guess I just didn't

I assume wanted to make it look extra soft and pastel by just using coloured shading on a white base? the colour choice is fun though!
