Gyaru slang in English! ･ﾟ｡.♡̷̷.*

Hei! Are you a gyaru but dont speak Japanese? Do you want to learn slang? Well im here to help !! Here’s some things my friends have taught me and I have learnt from other gyarus!

Lets start, shall we?:)

carried = carried away

example: "i broke up with this dude because he got way too carried with the gifts."

bummed = sad

example: "she's bummed because someone got the purse she wanted."

gl = good looking

example: "the guy on the front cover is super gl!"

boom = current fav gal substyle

example: "my boom is hime, so i need to get more bows."

brand = gyaru branded items/ clothes (liz lisa, ma*rs,

jesus diamente, alba rose, etc)

example: "i almost broke the bank trying to get some brand!"

income = incomparably

example: "the shirt was income cute!"

kara mara = karaoke marathon

example: "let's do a kara mara after school."

gets = items from a haul

example: "check out my gets i got from the store!"

crushed on = someone having a crush on you

example: "that girl has been looking at you for a while. i think you're getting crushed on!"

ks = left on read

example: "i was talking to this guy but he ks’d

me!

co*de = outfit/coordinate

example: "omg, her co*de was soooo cute!"

mat-gal = mature gal

example: "i had a job interview so i had to dress all mat-gal."

rate = decorate

example: "this bag is so blank! i need to rate it!"

self-cent = self-centered

example: "she's so self-cent! she got the bag i've been raving to her about!"

the eye = evil eye, stank eye, mean eye, etc

example: "that gal was def giving me the eye at the mall."

totes = totally

example: "i'm totes going shopping tomorrow.'

so/uber (used as an exaggeration. it's used in something like "i'm so excited! i'm so pissed! or any of the sorts.)

example: "i'm uber pissed because that teacher failed me!"

sun-salo = tan/tanning salon

example: "i should sun-salo since it's going to be sunny next week."

love chat = chat about love

example: "i heard you have a crush on that gal, let's have a love chat!"

hawajew = hibiscus/tropical jewelry

example: "i should get more hawajew since manba's my boom right now !”
