most of the guides i could find are old so this is for all my 2024 friends who are late to the party. also i will DEFINITELY forget something so if you have anything to add, hit the comments. also, i'm sure there are other tutorials for this on here and i'm sure they're great. this is just how i do it. aight? aight.
here are your options
how you make your stamp depends on how much customizability you want. so let's get this outta the way: if you don't care about customization, you can just use generators like this one. buuuuut if you wanna be able to really make your stamp your own, the best way is probably ezgif. super, well...easy. and customizable. honestly i would recommend it over any generator i've seen.
so here is how to make a stamp with ezgif:
- upload the gif/image you wanna use and resize it to your desired stamp dimensions. the standard is around 99x55 but it depends on the border you wanna use. you can always just resize the border too though. then download the image. here is mine...
- (optional) add ANOTHER image. click "gif maker" then switch to manually ordered upload. add your images and then there a bunch of frame options for you to f-ck around with. just mess around with the delay number if you wanna control when each image shows up. then download your gif. here is mine:
- (optional) add text by uhhhh clicking the add text button. the frames are numbered so you can make it run from frame 1 to frame 12 or whatever. you can figure it out. i believe in you. here's me progress:
- add the border and some other overlay image if you want. click the overlay button. grab a border from deviantart or something.
so yeah just download it and you're done. hope this helps. happy stamp making.
...oh and for like the one person who wants to use the cute wholesome little stamp i made, go ahead lol. credit appreciated, not required.
