Hello! Seeing as you opened this blog you should know

1: I am talking about Transformers by Daniel Warren Johnson which I will be referring to as TF Energon. 

2: I have never read IDW but heard it is really good. 

3: I do not take things too seriously (I am a casual fan of everything I talk about ok so please don't come at me )

Characters

Spike (Left) and his dad (He gets called Sparky but idk if that's his name)

So Spike isn't Sparks only son. Spike's brother (Jimmy) was apparently (Assuming I have only read the first TPB of issues 1-6) was an astronaut but a expedition gone wrong and he is presumably dead (I don't trust off screen deaths).

Spike has a complicated relationship with his dad who we meet at a bar. His dad is a veteran, his brother was an astronaut and is dead. Spike and Carly go up a mountain to talk about life and watch the stars through a telescope. They end up in the ship by chance.

So yeah intense first issue (it only gets worse). I will be making posts for each of the issues like this (maybe) because it's fun I mean grabbing the panels was crazy annoying but still. Check out the comic I prirate individual issues and buy the TPB collections I think that's the acyronom so I have read #1-6. I think I'll just blog highlights but this was a good introduction!
