I really like fall/autumn. When the first school semester stars, it's still a bit warm. But, then the breezy, crisp, cold air settles in. That's when I feel like absolutely going all out in the overtones of "Dark Academia", the study mood, brewing warm teas and lighting dim lit candles around the room.
For some reason, I usually listen to classical music during this time. When I, myself, play the piano, I associate the feeling of the hammers hitting the string as a cold, sharp sound. Which, in my opinion, fits perfect for these seasons. Another factum is that I used to have, occasional, evening classes. Where I would play the piano then take a bus home. But before I got to the bus, I'd always have walk through the snow and dark buildings where you could see people putting up lights.
Another part of these seasons that I love is the clothes. I have a long red coat and a pair of adorable winter boots that I've always wanted and finally got last year. I also have the cutest gloves, some shades darker than the coat which fit the colour perfectly. And lastly, a brown shoulder bag where I carry all my school things and books. I feel really adorable during winter... :D
I usually read books all year round, but for fall I read classics in general. And I really love classics so I get all giddy and excited to read a book I really am looking forward to.
Pictures I've taken of the fall season so far:
