is davehal a proship/darkship? (homestuck rant reupload from tumblr)

this question is EATING ME ALIVE so here is my take on it:

is davehal a proship/darkship? (inc3s+ to be specific)

first, is dirkhal proship/darkship? It can be, which is what makes the first question so difficult.

Hal was designed by Dirk to perfectly mimic himself to answer his friends when not online. It would make sense that one could consider Hal to essentially be dirk, but it is a little more complex then that. Hal is his own person/robot. He creates a separate identity, although based on dirk, and could therefore be considered either an equal or alternative version of dirk, his brother, or a separate and new person.

The first of the three would make dirkhal a mirrorship/selfcest ship. This isnt problematic, however it would make davehal problematic, as dirk is daves brother, and so hal is daves brother.

The second of the three would make dirkhal a darkship, as it is inc3s+. This would also make davehal problematic, as if dirk and hal are related, and dirk and dave are related, it would make sense for dave and hal to also be related.

The third and final of the three would make dirkhal a comship. Hal is a robot, and dirk is a human. If Hal were to form an identity separate from dirk (which im pretty sure he basically did, or tried to but struggled a lot due to the fact that he was just a pair of shades and wasn't considered a person) then that would make davehal also a comship; Dave is human, and Hal is a robot, and neither are related to eachother.

EDIT: a response to my initial post shows that hal is canonically roses uncle. The family tree still seems loose, with hal being a robot version of dirk, who is also a self-decided robot version of NOT dirk, so my final verdict still stands. its up to the reader! (personally i like both, hal's mindset ? is really interesting to explore) (this is why i encourge multishipping, dont anchor yourself to 1 guys.)

(somehow forgot to mention- john and jade are brother and sister. if hal were to be roses uncle AND daves uncle, it would also make sense for jane and jake to be semi-related through the betas aswell)
