Fear

In the whisper of the night, fear lurks,

Dancing shadow, restless soul.

Hearts beat in rhythm,

In the dim light, a step is a loop.

Eyes that close, don't want to see,

Inner monsters ready to grow.

Echoes of voices that never shut up,

Nightmares, in silence, rock me.

The future is an abyss, a deep sea,

Every uncertainty, a weight in the world.

Contained breaths, a prayer in vain,

Fear is a thief that steals reason.

But in the pain of fear, there is a thread of light,

A sigh, a verse, that still drives me.

Even if fear comes to haunt me,

In hidden courage, I can find myself.
