I am so fucking disgusted by people who romanticize cutting or other forms of self harm, that shit isn't cute and shouldn't be posted on your PUBLIC PAGE for others to see. I just was looking for people to add and saw this one guy fucking posting his fresh SH and asking everyone if they liked ts (he also had a whole highlight on his insta page for it and somehow it hasn't been taken down yet). This is some sort of mental illness and should not be normalized in any way. If you ask to see that shit you are part of the problem. If you disagree I fucking HIGHLY recommend you unadd me.

That is so fucking disgusting, that isn’t something people need to see, especially not on A PUBLIC PAGE??. I have suffered from sh, and the only time I ever showed someone was when I was scared it would get infected. I see it all the time on shtwt and it’s so triggering because it doesn’t need to be there on the internet for everyone to see, especially with digital footprints. That shit never goes away

most of the time its just a cry for help, they're not okay from the get go if they're doing sh, you cant expect them to be rational about what others think about it. they see it as beautiful, the pain inflicted on their body is beautiful to them, they expect the same perspective from everybody else, and if not, someone that will reach out and talk to them, to help them

I AGREE. As a apprehensive person, I absolutely hate those posts. They always send a cold shiver down my spine as my wrists start to feel like they're burning (idk how to explain it, but it's terrible). They have ABSOLUTELY NO REASON to be sort of "bragging" about their fresh cuts or other. It's disgusting, I hate it. :(

Honestly SH is one of the glorified and normalised illnesses on the internet.Like im so sick of people saying dumb shi like “Erm guess who did it >_<“ or like “You guys use razors for shaving?!?” Under some post featuring razors or knifes in innocent way.I also fuckin hate that animation community normalised animation is characters how they cut themselves on some boop song.stop it.it’s seriously fuckin bad and it’s not quickly or funny it’s depressing.And also showing you scars is disgusting,no one wants to see someone getting themselves hurt expect psychos.
