my computer is busted(?)

So, how are you? I hope you're doing well, because I'm not. (I didn't want the video to be a YT Short, but eh...)

So yeah, in short (no pun intended), my computer seems to be busted. I said "seems to be" because the RAM is the only one powered, and, if you can't hear it, there's a "bzzzkt" sound (ignore the dog). If my computer would be entirely busted, it means the data stored in there is also wiped out.

With that being said, I'm gonna use my laptop until this situation is fixed. Fingers crossed (🤞) that the memory didn't get wiped.

Now I know how you're thinking: how's life in general? Well...

UPDATE (2024-10-18) (like omg i forgot): It's the power supply... it's the one busted... the unit is under warranty, and we forgot where we bought it, so the technician contacted the supplier, and guess what? It'll take from 1 week to 1 month for that sht to be replaced... luckily, we (my family was with me during that time) requested that the power supply brand should be *this brand* instead of the one I was currently using so it will last longer.

I guess my mid laptop should do while I (somewhat impatiently) wait for the replacement...

UPDATE2 (2024-10-18): forgot to elaborate that it's the power supply that's busted lol 🥲

UPDATE3 (2024-11-10): so the power supply is back (🤩), but the problem is that it's the same power supply as before for they just repaired it... (😤) oh well...

Anecdote : a few years back, I bought some german brand's PU, and it stopped working after one month. I checked inside with a LED flashlight (can't remove the seal of warranty) and found a fried cocoon between two condensers. A small wasp nest, it seems.
