PUNK 57 & FOUL LADY FORTUNE !!

so im reading two books at the moment and its the two titles at the top ^^ !! idk i wanted to rant about them so if ur thinking of reading them plz don't look at this post.

punk 57 is apparently labelled a pretty intense smut, according to my sister. but i started reading it, and its actually really fucking sweet at the start. a boy and a girl who are penpals and their teachers thought they were the same gender (boys name is Misha, girls name is Ryen), so they got put together. they bonded over having divorced parents at a young age, and Ryen is Mishas MUSE. 

i fell in love with misha's character instantly, and its not because they describe him to be attractive as fuck (a little.) but also because he has a backbone. mostly. he finds out Ryen, this girl he's known for years isn't who she says she is. or atleast, she pretends to the outside world that the person she is, is exactly who she wants to be and not the person she is when writing letters she writes to Misha - which is fucked up. but i also DO get her motive even if i love Misha for his backbone and uneasiness with trust cause im the same - i also get why Ryen did what she did. acting, pretending to be someone she isn't so she wouldn't get bullied or feel the shitty feeling you get when laughed at or pointed out in a bad way. i also get the amazing rush of the feeling you get when people laugh WITH you and not at you, but the way she did it was fucked up. why bully some random kid you used to be friends with just because you feel like shit and wanna feel superior? she didn't need to do that. she could've done a lot of other shit that wouldn't have fucked with that kid, cause then her popular friends start teasing him - calling him gay because he dresses differently. and then Misha comes outta no where, transfers to the school - not for Ryen - but for his sister. and whilst they do this to the poor kid, Misha pulls the boys chair up to his table and refuses to let them shit on him for no reason. he's salty all the way through the day, she tries to humiliate him - cause she doesn't know who he is yet. doesn't know its her penpal and it breaks my heart bro omg. i kinda ranted im sorry if that made no sense but i had no one else to talk to it about and i felt like just typing out all my thoughts.


ANYWAY!! the other book im reading i haven't read much - but the girl in it is one of my fav book characters so far. in the first like.. 20 seconds of reading, we find out shes a science experiment and we don't know what changes happened, but they did it so she wouldn't die. then, she goes over to make a deal with someone. but she gets her throat slit by an opposing gang member or 'boss', and whilst they think shes dying - her throat stops spewing blood and stitches its skin back up. IM SORRY... what?? apparently shes fuckin immortal, and then another 10 seconds later the boss dies from poisoning she put on a gift (a vase) that he touched. she was wearing gloves since she doesn't think she was immune to poison, it was so intense?? for no reason?? AND THE BOOK IS SO DETAILED i love it.
