TOP 5 INDEPENDENT ARTIST YOU SHOULD LISTEN TO!

Probably one of the few artist I'd actually listen to a full project from. 

 His creativity hasn't reached its peak yet, and it's safe to say neither has his career. Excited to see his take over and presence trickle down influencing the next few generations.  

   Geuice is the multi-talented artist who already racked up credits with artist such Cordae, Will Tha Rapper & many more. He has a voice smoother than butter and easily switches back and forth between falsetto. If his resume didn't already catch your attention, check out "Patience" (2020) and see for yourself why he deserves goat status. 

3. CAMMY DUB$

     

  First things first, if any artist should be banned from all social media platforms...it should be Cammy. I have never in my life seen anyone so funny, yet concerning at the same time. Cammy Dub$ is a unique individual who is quite literally the best combination of anime and hip hop culture. When he isn't goofing off and saying the most wild tweets you'll ever read in your life, he's a really great rapper. Cammy's D'lites flexes his hard delivery & quirky punchlines. I've had the pleasure of working with him a few times & I'll say his consistency never disappoints. Bars on bars. 

  Earth, Mars... Jupiter!  Aaron Thomas pretty much does it all. Aaron has a unique resume ranging from a successful gospel career to working with Rob hit artist like Tiffany Evans. Aaron is definitely out of this world. There's not a whole lot to say to prep you for what you'll hear, so I'll just let the talent speak for itself.  My favorite song off his 2020 project Jupiter, is "Hi"  from the aggressive drums with the soft vocals topping it off, you can see why I included Aaron on this list. 

 His pen gets busy and his melodies are insane. Aaron is expected to drop a new album here soon and we will be streaming and buying! 

5. Pryde 

 When Pryde isn't working as the shea butter plug, he embraces the Hannah Montana fantasy of being a super star rapper/singer. The project that put him on my radar was released about 4 years ago. Kairu, Ca is a perfect blend of what I'd expect shea butter and essential oils to sound like.

         6. GODISMIKEY

Without a doubt, Godismikey has a lot more power to him than he may even realize himself. As my first time doing anything like this, I couldn't include a top 5 independent artist to watch out for without including mr "Lines" himself. Who doesn't want to be Mikey? He has the bars, the creativity, the fanbase, he's a total package deal. It's only a matter of time before we see him on the billboard hot 100.
