Oh, cruel fate, why dost thou tease?
With broken hearts and shattered pleas.
A whispered hope, then ripped away,
In darkness, I am made to stay.
The stars above, they mock my cries,
A hollow echo, cold goodbyes.
No light remains, no hand to hold,
I wither young, yet feel so old.
Oh, cruel fate, why dost thou play?
And leave me lost, a shade of gray.
