First impressions in new book

Hello every-nyan, hope your'e doing great!

So recently there was a book fair in my school so naturally i went to buy smth for my collection and found a copy of "lolita" by Vladimir Nabokov and i bought it cause yeah. i know this book had a lot of controversy (mainly cause of the adaptation film wich i never watched and based from what other people said from it i don't plan to watch it lmao) so i thought it would be nice to read it by myself.

I'm still at the very beggining of the book but i'm AMAZED on how fricking well this book make you feel sick about the protagonist, like at the very beggining there's a prologue abt Herbert as a person and is sickening knowing beforehand what he did but actually reading the thoughts of him potraying HIMSELF as this romantic and passionate lover when he's a total psycho.

I still have a LOT to read so i'm probably going to upload my thoughts as time goes by, for now thanks for reading<33
