When in doubt, journal.

I've been going through quite a bit of self discovery lately.

It started with mild introspection, surprisingly while I was listening to Chappell Roan's song Red Wine Supernova. I went on to listen to more of her music, read into the meanings behind her songs... It's crazy where that can take you, no?

Anyway. Starting a journal is something I'm very glad I've been sticking to. This one is full of quotes, lyrics, art, sketches, collages, and thoughts that muddle my brain.

Yesterday I found some old DVDs of The Wire in the bushes, scratched up and ruined by the elements. Today I'm going to figure out how to incorporate them into my journal.

Even if you only create sometimes... create something. You can shove it off to the side for a while and forget about it. Once you find it again though, it will a charming memory.
