There's so much to do, so much to achieve,
Breathe, breathe deep, and learn to believe.

Jump and fall, land on a pillow,
Then rise again, like a weeping willow.
Rest your soul, find your peace,
Breathe, breathe deep, let your thoughts release.

Eight months have passed, starting in March,
Though I still miss you, my heart’s grown harsh.
I don’t want to feel the pain I keep,
So I’ll breathe, breathe deep, before I sleep.

Nothing is simple, no tale to be told,
Love and poetry, both shimmer and fold.

October has passed like the months before,
I’m healing slowly, I miss you no more.
Your friends despise me, but I’m unshaken,
I’ve learned to breathe, deep and awaken.
