Many people at my school call me a trend hopper but I don't think I am, Ive been want to dress like how I dress now since thet 6th grade(I'm in 9th rn) but my parents never gave me the clothes i wanted(¬▂¬)but anyways, I started getting clothes I've been wanting last year in the 8th grade but they werent the ones I wanted. They were just baggy clothes, but this summer I started buying my own clothes and now people think I am "trend hopping" since wearing baggy clothes and Alt brands is the thing now. But I'm not sure if a am a trend hopper, I mean I skate and people say I don't because I skate in lowkey places and not really obv places so not many people see me. what are your guys opinion?0_o

No you've liked the style for a while.
Trend hopping is essentially meaning you like something because it is trending and once it goes out of style you don't like it
I:E (you like/participate in it bc of the belief that its cool like some of those ppl who were "alt bi non-binary" in 2020 and now clean stockholm cishet girls in 2024)
