first of four shows starting this friday...

So the first of four shows will happen this Friday as I traverse up to Randolph, NJ to perform with Supernova. We're playing at Black River Barn, which is a cool place that ALWAYS has a nice crowd. 

I like crowds.

Just don't like being IN them. Would rather play TO them.

Got about 45-50 songs on the list so that's a lot of music. Fortunately, the songs are relatively easy but of course I play quirky, so bits and pieces of me will just happen to...happen ;)

Now onto my own music...

Well, I am still nowhere near ready to find musicians or work on another album. But I have many demos that I paired down to 11 (from 40!) I doubt anyone wants a double album, unless we were back in the 70s when Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Yes did them with no problems.

And they would sell!

Not that a lot of people ask me for new music but a few have. So I feel all warm and fuzzy about that. I think this will be my final album. I know, a lot of bands/artists say that and then go back on their word. I really think this is it. And if so, it will go out on a high note. For years I would say "I have gas left in the tank" but now, I am not so sure anymore. 

But the demos I recorded are good, the songs are there, just need to eventually be fleshed out and played with a proper rhythm section. Or do I use a drum program and play bass like I did with LAYERS OF TIME?
