So, if you all unaware, i am a binding of isaac fan
and one of the biggest complains that exist is that delirium sucks ass
The problems of Delirium+Void:
Void is gigantic
There is many boss rooms with only 1 having delirium
all enemies in the floor are just the enemies from other floors
Delirium himself isnt a dick by teleflagging and transforming into different bosses
So, how to make him better?
There is many ways, one of the ways is just picking only hard enemies and removing delirium teleporting ability, but i wanted to think on something cooler, so here my concept:
Void:
-The Floor is more organized, only 2 boss rooms, with one having the true boss entrace
-All enemies on the Void are "Delirium" Versions of the enemies (They work similar to the Eternal Enemies from The Flash version of TBOI), giving extra challenge by adding extra health and mechanics to them, like damaging trails, spawning enemies on death or new moves against you
-Delirium bosses may appear in rooms with the enemies, similar to other places like chest and the cathedral
-The Fake Delirium Boss Room will have a Delirium Version of a boss, and will give a great item as a reward (probably a higher quality item)
-The True Delirium Room will have a weird door, that looks like drawn on paper, leading to the Boss Fight
Delirium Fight:
-Delirium is stationary the whole fight, staying on a pool of himself
-He will have moves and patterns similar to other stationary bosses, and will also spawn delirium copies of bosses and enemies to attack you
-May also use bullets and attacks similar to Isaac moves
After enough attacks, his body start melting, and from it, a second phase starts as the second state, Delirium becomes similar to the Hand Drawn isaac, and start using new Moves
-Mostly Walks around, or flies if he gets smth like the wings
-Will Spawn items and use them, have higher chance of using copies of your items, but has a limited pool
-Many of his attacks are copies from other bosses, combined to a new moveset
-Will Throw bombs and Keys, spawn giant coins and cause a lot of mayhem
-Does Dashes against you, trying to push you against the walls
-On death, a chest fall on him, with a similar appearence to the hand drawn chest from some of the cutscenes
-the ending still the same, if not with some minor differences
