Hello! I'm Shack Man, and I love going to the movie theater. Let me talk about the last 5 movies I saw in theaters:
Transformers One, 9/10: Legitimately probably biased but I loved this movie. A great origin story for Optimus Prime and Megatron, and such a pretty movie as well. You will love this if you're a Transformers fan, but it is also actually a great starting off point if you know nothing about Transformers. Highly recommend!
My Old Ass, 8.5/10: Movie about an 18 year old girl who gets so high she can talk to her future self. It's funny, but god did it punch me in the gut. A great watch if you're young and worry too much about the future. Highly recommend!
The Wild Robot, 7.5/10: A very cute kids movie! I'm older than it's intended demographic, but my 14 year old brother definitely loved it more than I did. Beautiful to look at, and the emotional climax definitely made me tear up a bit. Watch it with your family. Recommend!
The Substance, 9/10: Maybe the best movie of the year? Just an insane body horror film that's sleek and amazing to look at every scene. Everyone involved does an amazing job, but I especially loved Demi Moore. Don't watch it if you can't stomach some insane disgusting visuals. Highly recommend!
Never Let Go, 6/10: An all around alright horror movie. Watched it because it's starring Halle Berry, and she is acting her ass off in this one. Has a few scenes of legitimately high tension that had me at the end of my seat, but couldn't keep me hooked in the scenes iinbetween. You'll understand its metaphor like 10 minutes in. I suppose catch it when it hits streaming.
That's it for now, I'll do this again once I watch more movies. Check out my Letterboxd

I wanna see Joker 2 so bad, if only because I remember liking Joker a lot when it first came out years ago. Yeah I personally think it probably is bad, but I still wanna see it lol. I watched Beetlejuice Beetlejuice when it first came out, and I liked it! I can't say I loved it personally, but it was a funny and good time. Personally, Im hyped for Terrifier 3 and Smile 2, my boyfriend and me love those movies and are hyped for their sequels. But yeah def follow me on Letterboxd dude Ill follow back.
