SpaceHey works on flip phone browser!

I'm typing this on an Aquos Sharp 601sh! SpaceHey mostly works, although many images and layouts (including my own (;-;)) don't load...

Spacehey runs on my 2007 Blackberry 8310. It should run perfectly on your phone, if it has android it should work.

I do live in a bit of a dodgy area (surrounded by farms and empty land) when it comes to signal and internet connection, so it might just be my internet not letting the images load rather than the phone then. I think I'll try using it when I'm in the city to see if it works better there. Thanks!

Huh, neat. If I ever decide to get a dumbphone, I'll definitely check it out on there.

Keep in mind that you'll most likely need one with either touchscreen or touch cruiser, otherwise you probably won't be able to navigate the website properly

I definitely recommend getting some kind of dumb phone either way. I've been so much more focused and I've got way more reading done than I usually do. It's also just fun to type on a physical keypad, it's ASMR for me lol

Ah shit yeah I didn't even think of that lmao, my ass was thinking of some shitty verizon flipphone. Do they still make/have blackberries on the market, or did those all fade away?

-> Should totally get one
Yeah i know ;-; ive been dying for one, less for personal use and more just as a work/burner, but it'd still be nice to just HAVE so I don't get looped back onto youtube or discord or some shit yk? Thanks for the thoughtful reply, I'll deffo think on it!

I wanted a blackberry SO BAD, they're so cute There are a few people who use the older ones as dumb phones, though if you want a newer version there is one that was released in 2020, the Blackberry Key2LE, though it doesn't have the same level of cuteness/nostalgia as the older versions unfortunately :(

Be careful with buying older phones though since 2G is getting shut down in many countries and a lot of older models don't support 3G. We still have it in the UK but it's probably getting shut down next year ;_;

Nokia also released some newer phones and they're fairly cheap. I'm pretty sure you can only call and text on them which is pretty good for a work phone. I know at least the newest one supports 4G too!
