ok i am posting this for day 7 of the spacehey challenge and tbh i just wasnt sure what else to post about lol. i was digging through my drive and thought these might be interesting to showcase

i took AP art the 2019-2020 school year, here is a sample of my "sustained investigation." i SOMEHOW scored a 5 (out of 5).
2020 (age 17)
i drew a LOT that year. at this point i was mostly doing digital art. lots of sketches in ms paint and tux paint. i started trying to create original digital paintings.

2021 (age 18)
around this time i began leaning more into realism and digital painting
I don't know if this is true of high schools everywhere, but at mine the art teacher would let her favorite graduating students paint the ceiling tiles. So. Yeah. I painted my fursona holding a peepy, and, if I had to guess, it's probably still up there. Dear God.

THESE ARE SO INSANELY COOL!!!! I’m obsessed with the way you color, and I hope the ceiling tile is there for the rest of eternity lolol adds history!!

Great job, It's always nice to see where one has started, even seeing our own old artwork is fascinating. The way we grow is unique, and our art shows how we grow. Well done with all these, I wish my drawing skills were that good XD
ahh thanks! and improving at art takes nothing more than a combination of time and studying. you'll get where you wanna be one day, just stick with it!!

and, yeah, being allowed to paint the tile was pretty neat :) it was a fun challenge, too. it's kind of a weird texture work with and the scale was much bigger than anything i had previous done in traditional media
