...It's been a wild ride.

Hi Spacehey. Last time you heard from me, I was excited about 2024.

Oh god, I was an idiot.

I can start with the good at least - I've made some new friends from going to my weekly local Pokemon TCG tournament, which is fun. I'm definitely not winning anytime soon, but I'm at least enjoying myself. Plus, I have a job. Which means money.

But oh god, that job.

Tyrannical manager. People ignoring fire alarms. Ceiling leaking. Usual retail hell shenanigans. Multiple team leaders bullying me and using me as a scapegoat. Somehow being in the wrong for everything ever, even if it isn't my fault. Just, hell. For £8.85 an hour. 39 hours a week. On my feet.

On a related note, turns out I have planar fasciitis. Flat feet - fallen arches. Leading to what is essentially toothache in my damn feet...aaaaaand I get bullied for needing to sit down sometimes.

Basically - 2024 isn't going great for me, but at least I get paid. 

I've been looking for other places to work, and good god, why the hell is the job market so terrible now? I can't find anywhere hiring, it's upsetting. But oh well, I'll escape on my own terms eventually.

Here's hoping life's gonna get easier soon enough.
