Halloween: No more. (A soft rant)

First of all, you what really grinds my gears? What's bullshit? What infuriates me? It's christmas on stores.

Alright first of all, why the fuck would you buy christmas shit on the middle of august? I see stores putting up cristmas trees, hannukah decorations, inflatables, yadada. I would say it's ok, I mean, you would go in NOVEMBER to buy holiday decorations, you know so you don't really spend that much money when the stores start scamming 200 dollars off of you when you try to buy some spheres. But, I won'r forgive you if you think, that in the middle of the hot, BBQ weather of August, you go: "Hey! I'm gonna buy a christmas tree! Oh how wonderful are the holidays!". Bro, people are getting depressed because they have to go back to work, it's 45ºC outside. WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT? HALLOWEEN IS ON THE WAY, HECK, THANKSGIVING ISN'T EVEN CLOSE.

And talking about Halloween, christmas has really drowned it out. I see more christmas shit, than I see fun Halloween things, on October! It seems nobody really cares that much about halloween anymore! You see a bunch of videos on Tik-Tok or Youtube or reels, I don't even care. You see Gen-Z adults, finally entering their adulthood, carrying the baton of candygiver by the older generation, only to be crushed when they see that NO SINGLE KID has gone to their door. It's pretty fucking depressing! Where shall they be? Oh, in something called... "Trunk or Treat". What's that? Well, its a watered down, non magical, non spirited halloween. It's a bunch of parked cars, with their trunks open, filled with candy. Who in the world would find that fun? I know I wouldn't. Halloween is about going door-to-door, asking for candy. That's the whole deal. In my life, I never had a Halloween, seriously, I never did (I live in Mexico and, well, we don't do that shit. Well, you might see some families in private residences doing it). But I knew, that if I had the slightest chance, of having an actual halloween, I WOULD DO IT! None of that trunk or treat bullshit. THEY DON'T EVEN DRESS UP FOR IT! THEY'RE HANDING OUT CANDY TO KIDS WITHOUT COSTUMES! I know, there's an unbreakable rule in Halloween that, if you don't have a costume, you get no piece of candy.

Also, you are NEVER old enough to not dress up for Halloween, no you are not. I see people in my school that don't even bother, because, "they're too old." Yeah bro, you look so cool on halloween wearing all black. I'm going as one of my OC's this year, no one will ever know what I'm dressed as, yet you don't see me whining about how "old we are".
