How I Adopted My Garfield

(QUICK NOTE, SKIP IF YOU WANT: before you begin reading, I want to apologize for my last post being so dark. If you don't know, just a few minutes ago, I would log onto the site after signing up yesterday, to find not only did a cool sonic fan commented on my profile (Ty btw) but also the fact that someone sent me a link to a Youtube video of the Ronnie Mcnutt video, I have blocked him since but yeah, I want to apologize for that last post.)

So, I own a plush of Garfield in my house and I am planning of getting more, so here is the story on how I would find him.

Twas' the day I would go on my "Walk Of Wellbeing" in my school, and while walking, I passed near a charity shop, now I used to go hunting in these shops for stuff, however it's usually no cigar, but I said "Ah what the heck" and looked in the toy bin, and I would find... a toon Zelda plush by Sanei. I was like, Ok that's actually a good find, BUT! I didn't have money (since I left my phone in my bag, which was in my home room), plus my teacher would end up stopping me from looking, so I continued on the walk.

Now, before you say "Well where's Garfield??", I'll get to him in a minute, but let's continue:

Luckily, the walk ended shortly after and we got to go home! so I was waiting for my grandad to come and get me (I don't live far, but I am too lazy to walk :/) and I was wondering about the charity shop, and I was like, Ok, There's gotta be SOMETHING I didn't see that was there. So, once he came, I asked him, "Hey grandad, can we go to the charity shop, I just want to see what's there" since, I didn't even know if I had money on my card to buy it, since I bought a Lipton ice tea at the vending machine.

So, we went there, and like I did last time, I checked in the toy bin again and, well, Zelda was still there, but once I lifted Zelda up, I noticed a quite familiar pattern of stripes, so I lifted him up, and in that moment, I felt like Charlie when he found the last golden ticket, I found a 1981 Dakin   we locked eyes, and once we did, I could feel, a true bond between us. I went in the shop t check if I had money on my card, when a elderly lady, gives me a euro to buy it, I felt so bad but also so happy at the same time, she said "My granddaughter used to love that orange cat" and I felt so happy to the point of crying, I gave her a hug like I was hugging my grandmother who sadly passed away due to cancer two years ago, Such a kind woman she was.

Once I got in the car I told my grandad and held Garfield tight in my hands until we got home, I would find out once I got home that he was a suction cup Garfield with the suction cups ripped off, I don't mind, I still love him. He is now my best friend, in fact, he is sitting on my lap as I type this on my laptop, I also hug him every time I feel like I can't do it.

before I wrap up this blog entry, I just want to say that, kindness is a boomerang, if you spread kindness, it'll come back to you in some way, shape or form. even though I own plenty of plushies, Garfield will always have a soft spot in my heart, Goodbye.
