sorry for such a dark post as my first one, but if you know anyone who makes jokes about suicide or self harm or they post videos of suicide gore, PLEASE TELL THEM TO STOP, seriously someone just sent me the Ronnie Mcnutt video on Spacehey after someone in a Whatsapp group chat sent it. PLEASE STOP, IT'S NOT ONLY CRUEL IT'S ALSO DISRESPECTFUL YOU SICK FUCKS! (this is not to everyone btw just the people who joke about it, you are cool in my books if you don't joke about it <3)

There are two types of people who make jokes on suicide:
1. People who don't care about it at all and think "edgy = big funny"
2. People who were once actually suicidal/attempted
The people in category 1 are the people who send the gore videos, tell depressed people to "kys", force it onto other people, etc.
The people in category 2 joke about it, sure, but they tend to keep it in groups of people that understand, know when and when not to joke about it, and overall they genuinely care about the problem of suicide. Category 2 people get a pass, category 1 people do not.
