like for those who dont know what it is, its a 9 episode anime from the early 2000s based on the matrix, every episode is its own story but they take place in the same post apocalyptic universe where robots have almost exterminated mankind, some of the episodes take place in the real world, some in simulations because the universe is hyper advanced

so like, its like a crazy good show, very beatiful very powerful, its just the fucking people in it are so stupid, like the show introduces us to its world where like robots are used mainly as workers

think like detroit become human and its basically just like that but they dont look real

one robot does a murder because they literally gave them free will but like still use them as slaves

so the murder happens and like instead of being rational they fucking decide to exterminate all of robot kind and throughout you see this like montage of shit happening around the world and its so insanely clear that its an allegory for oppressed groups in society

and like the robots are all like 10x more powerful than the humans but they still try to make peace like at least 3 times but the humans always kill them so what do the robots do? gruesomely kill all of mankind

oh and heres what i wanna talk about, the "im real" scene

its very much a scene on like trans violence, like this robot completely looks and acts like a real woman but the second she's found out to not be organic she gets her clothes ripped off, her head smashed in with a hammer, and eventually they fucking shoot her through the chest with a shotgun

and its not like 1 person planning a murder or like an accidental circumstance, a whole crowd of people watches as this woman is torn apart because they don't deem her as "real" 

all robots are capable of crime and murder so she must be capable of crime and murder

like its exactly like real life and in how like trans people are constantly trying to dodge lies about us and our community, this scene especially hits hard because it was made by a trans person
