stew? party plan

So, I'm planning on making an invite for my next-door neighbors to come over and get a bowl of this typical Dutch stew/soup. I have a recipe from my dad, and it's made in this huge 8-liter pan, we used to eat it with 6 people and still have enough leftovers for 6 people.

It's made out of peas, roughly chopped onions, potato cut in blocks, soup vegetables, and optionally meat, like this typically Dutch smoked sausage, and with this weird brown bread-like stuff sometimes. I'll have to start in the morning and it will have to be on the stove all throughout the day until dinner time.

So I'm thinking of planning a day to make it, clean up my house real good (and make it a little less creepy), and make fun invites to give to my neighbors!!!! I hope they'll like it, I just really like cooking for other people, and I'd love to share this with more people!
