I adore so many different types of clothing styles yet anytime I enter a thrift store I cant even find good stuff to diy with. Im trying not to shop fast fashion ( unless my mom or family member buys me something off of it without my knowledge I'll obv wear it cuz I don't wanna succumb to overconsumption plus it would be a waste of their money ). If you know any good trustworthy websites pls link them below, I usually wear emo and Tumblr emo fashion. It'll have to be cheap and trustworthy though, if its not my mom wont let me buy anything from there.
give me brand recommendations :(

I'm not sure what you consider cheap, and not sure if this is your genre of emo but I like Dickies and Donut
Donut has great japanese Car graphic tees and dickies has general designer-esq jackets belts tees etc
Their stuff is like $25 up to super expensive stuff like $80-$100 for jackets but T shirts are usually not too bad.
Hot topic almost always has sales and deals for graphic tees, and if you build up hotcash you can get some serious savings.
Looking for sales and deals will really help you get those branded shirts and pants. My hot topic had nce pants marked down to $20 each and they qualified for a buy one get one 35% off so I got mad savings on those.
I also like thrifting red and black flannel, Look for 100% cotton and made in USA or Australia
You can also sometimes find some great Australian Leather in thrift stores if you go frequent (and I mean like 3 times a week frequent)
