...what's immediately evident is that the vast majority of these games are denpa / mystery / psychological horror (or were advertised as such LOLOL) since that is DEFINITELY my niche x3
my favorites from this list thus far are saya no uta, goodbye despair, and udg (^o^)
slow damage is proving to be very captivating, too! i just finished rei's route... so far, i love the interrogation mechanics, characterization (especially when it comes to dialogue! ik this game has a bad rep for utilizing fanfiction-y language during the "euphoric episodes," but imo that detail is negligible compared to how GOOD the rest of the localization is...), and the dark, immersive atmosphere; n+c games always knock it out of the park with worldbuilding, it seems~

I recommend Steins Gate, its pretty long but very fun and mixes science fiction with real world elements really well.

for much heavier content id suggest shiniyuku kimi, yakata ni medbuku but if you didnt like btd you might not enjoy some aspects of it eheh
omg i've heard SUCH good reviews of sayonara o oshiete... ty for reminding me of its existence! as for togainu no chi, i plan to work my way through every n+c game eventually, so it's totally on my agenda x3 i hadn't heard of senren banka until now (i'm very newgen) but upon googling it, i think the art style is gorgeous! i'll keep it in mind
and i swear i recognize the appeal of btd (like ren's story especially seemed incredibly compelling) but yeah it was a little too heavy and aimless for me... i'll look into that last title with caution, tysm! (*ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)ꕤ*.<3

n+c have some amazing games imo!! honestly im a huge btd fan but i do get why itd be too heavy for viewers eheh, try checking doesthedogdie! great place for trigger warnings.
if you liked watgbs id also suggest the gray garden!! funamasea's rpg work is incredible
