Hung (a short story)

I opened the door with barely a sqeak

What i saw took away what i had to speak 

My best friend 

My only true friend

The one who saved me at my breaking point

The only one to give me a fair chance

The only one i ever loved

Was now hung from the celling without a feeling

I dropped to the floor and my neck exploded

A painful scream escaped my mouth

A scream of pity, sorrow and regret that escaped my mouth

I felt it last for an eternity and how no one heard me im not sure but when i stopped he was still there hanging lifeless forevermore

I fell to the side of the doorway with a stream of tears falling down my face and onto the floor but a leg caught my head before i slumped over into a mess of tears and greif

His brother was now standing next to me and say the body too

"Oh dear" he explained 

"Looks like you've found yourself all alone"

"Poor child"

"I should bring you home now"

"U shouldnt have to bear the burden of this sight any longer"

"Even someone as insane as me understands that..."
