my makeup ₊✩‧₊˚౨ৎ˚₊✩‧₊

hi guys! („• ֊ •„)੭ I just cleaned up my makeup and made it look all nice! so I would love to share it with you and maybe share some tips and tricks as well! it took a long time because I was also making a video! I'm thinking of starting my own makeup channel or just posting tuts on here! lmk if you guys would be interested at all? IMG-2199-VSCO when I was younger I used to hate everything girly and pink, but as I grew up I started to learn to love it. I'm not the best at makeup but I do try and I am learning how to be better every day <3. i love to watch makeup tuts on youtube when I am eating and going to sleep. it is slowly consuming my life but I love it sm I wouldn't want anything else.

 here's my routine! ︶⊹︶︶୨୧︶︶⊹︶

step 001. Start by washing your face, you want to go through your skincare routine and end it off with moisturizer so the makeup sticks better. a clean canvas is good! maybe ill make another blog going into my skincare but its a long routine as well!

step 002. USE PRIMER! i used to think it was useless and just another step but please please please use it! apply the primer to your whole face. i use the elf power grip primer! there are probably better ones out there but this one works great for me!

step 003. glue down your eyebrows and draw them on. I have thin eyebrows, I don't have impulse control when it comes to eyebrow razors or tweezers. the early 2000s eyebrows are it! i tend to glue mine down very thin and angled upwards, and then go through with my eyebrow powder and an angled brush to make them look nice! after that you want to "carve" them out; meaning use your concealer and clean up the edges! for my eyebrows, I use the elf brow lift and kimChi kimbrowly!

step 004. now you want to use your foundation, depending on the coverage you want the amount varies. i love a full face so I normally put some on my cheeks, forehead, chin, and nose. i will then use a beauty blender to blend it since I find foundation brushes (at least the ones I used) tend to make it look very cakey! and remember we want a smooth base. for foundation i use kimchi "a really good foundation" and its pretty good! i have used many others if you can see them in the pictures and this one works the best!

step 005. now this is where I mess up a lot, its not hard but I have a poor memory. i use two different concealers, and I layer them. So what I do is take my slightly darker one and put it under my eyes, as well as the middle of my forehead, and my chin. I will then take my lighter one and do the same. and then blend. I also like taking my lighter one and putting it right under the corners of my nose! the concealers I use the most are: LA colors "conceal it" (darker one) & elf "hydrating camo concealer" (lighter one.) I will then blend it with a beauty blender!

step 006. now we get to contour, my least fav part of makeup. I struggle with either it looking muddy at times or it's not dark enough so if anyone has tips please let me know! i will normally put the contour right under my cheekbones, right below my hairline, and then I will contour my nose. which I try to achieve a smaller nose, so I will normally make it into a v shape going down the bridge connecting to a small oval. I will also put some right on my nostrils for shadowing! blend the larger spots out with a bigger brush and the smaller ones with a small fluffy brush! The contours I use rn (I switch between them) are lemooc "contour makeup stick" and heci beauty "liquid contour" (this one leaves stain-like marks so I recommend this one for nose contour!)

step 007. its time for blush now! i will put mine right above the contour on my cheeks, and then some on the bottom of my nostrils! and the tip of my nose. Ill then use a bigger fluffy brush to blend it out. i use heci beauty "liquid blush" (again this one leaves stain like marks so what I like to do is find a smooth plastic surface and dab some on to it, then use my big fluffy brush and tap it in the liquid blush. ill apply it from the brush!)

step 008. BAKE! time to bake, but before you do that please please use pressed powder under your eyes, a very small amount. it helps decrease creasing! i will then apply a very small amount of baking powder to under my eyes aswell first to again prevent creasing. and then go in with more over that, bake your whole face/or wherever you notice your make up gets really cakey! i used to use wet n wild "photofocus; translucent" but I have since switched over to kimchi "puff puff pass" both work amazingly! and I recommend both! i will then go through and brush off the excess powder after letting it sit a little. for the pressed powder I like to use colourpop "pretty fresh"!

step 009. this one is a hit or miss for some people! after I bake I love to use some setting spray, I feel like it just makes the make up stick better and helps "complete" the base! my fav is tarte "maracuja miracle mist!"

step 010. now we can move onto eye make up, my eye makeup never stays the same. I am always trying new things! all I can say is I love dark eye make up, big black eyeliner and smokey eyeshadow! i tend to use lash clusters so I don't use mascara on my upper lashes. I still haven't switched to clusters on the lower ones yet so I like to use it on my lower ones! I will also take tweezers sometimes and squeeze them together to create a more spikey look! for that I also recommend getting some mascara on the tweezers aswell since it will help them stick together better. i am currently looking into getting black doll contacts rn so that will be added onto "eye makeup" eventually! i use a lot of products for my eyes so ill list them

-mascara; l'oreal "telescopic carbon black"

-eyeliner; nyx "jumbo white eyliner" (I use this on my water line to make my eyes appear bigger and more doll like!)

-eyeliner; Kokie "gel ink dual ended eyeliner" \

-eyeliner; Maybelline "unstoppable eyeliner"

-lash clusters: Ucoolme "fairy/manga lash clusters" & "bond and seal"

step  011. after my eye make up is complete I like to start with my lips after that, I use a peel stain and hella overline both my top and bottom lips (I was cursed with small lips, I am praying to the lip filler gods that I can get some soon!). when its dry you just peel it right off and voila! if there are any mess ups I normally go in with a normal lip liner of a similar shade and fix it up. i like to use a darker color on the more inside of my lips and then ill apply lip stain over it. after all of that I like to top it off with either lip plumper or lip gloss! again there's a lot of products I use on my lips so its easier to list it out!

- peel off lip stain; I'm not sure where its from cause the brand name is wiped off, maybe tik tok shop! my sister bought it and doesn't do her makeup often so I stole it >.< ! what I can read tho says "lip liner stay n" so hopefully your able to find it and if you do lmk cause I'm running out!!

-lip liner; I use a mix of drug store ones but most of the time the brand is LA colors and I really like the shades "mauve" and "cafe"!

-lip plumper; beauty creations "plump & pout"

-lip gloss; beauty for certain "lip gloss rosado"

step 012. time for highlighting! I normally will put it on the inner corners of my eyes. a small line down the bridge of my nose aswell as a dab on the tip. i will also put it right under the arch of my eyebrows, and right above my cupids bow. for my inner eyes & nose I like to first go in with my white eye liner and then use actual highlighter just for an extra pop! The eyliner is the same one I used on my waterline (scroll up to check!) and I also use the ace beaute "glow essentials highlighter palette." in the shade "icy" or sometimes if I'm feeling crazy ill use the shade "poppin"

step 013. setting spray again all over and then we have finished priz's makeup routine!

tips & tricks

. i recommend wetting your beauty blender with either water or setting spray ( I prefer setting spray) it will help blend the makeup out better and not depositing all of it on to your face.

. try not to use to much product in one area; I know this seems counter productive to the routine we just went through, but use small amounts. more makeup on your face = bigger chance of it coming out cakey!
