how september went

So... A new school year has started, but shockingly, I am not busy at all. September was... Okay I guess? mixed feelings.

First off, my school year started late due to the teacher's union's strike to get better pay.  They were on strike until I believe the 8th? doesn't matter, they got a pay raise. Unfortunately my in-person school days didn't last long, we moved online shortly after due to "safety" concerns and honestly? I am so incredibly done with online schooling. Almost every year since middle school (excluding 10th grade) we had a time period where we learnt online, and I hated it each time. Genuinely I feel as if online learning will be my downfall.

Aside from school shenanigans, we started the new scouts year!! Unfortunately it did not last long, as right after we went to the start of the year seminar- a safety warning was issued and we had no scouts since. Which is disappointing, it's my last year and was frankly my only reason that I really went outside and battled social anxiety... Genuinely this offline learning is gonna be the reason I end up a shut in.

Anyways, vocal synth releases as that always makes me happy.

On the 2nd, released a vocal from a software I was only recently introduced to, VOX factory- Oona! I LOVE her and her voice. She's really nice :) The fact that it's a software with korean capabilities is super cool too! You don't see that around a lot, for some reason. All the designs of synths on that engine are in general incredibly fun and cool.

On the 7th, released synthesizer V vocal NOA hex! I listened to a few samples of his voice, not too crazy over him or his design.

On the 26th, released Miyamai Moca's synthesizer V voicebank!! Miyamai Moca is an original character from AH-Software, originally released as a voicepeak talk voice. And I LOVE her, her voice is beautiful and exactly what we needed in the vsynth sphere. Genuinely can't wait to see more releases with her (hopefully rock and metal releases, she sounds so nice in these).

On the 30th, we got Tsuina-Chan's vocaloid6 port! Now I'm not a big fan of Tsuina, I think she's cool but I'm not obsessed- But cross-platform is always welcome. Not only do they become available on more engines and therefore for more users, but it's also fun to hear the minor differences they undergo between engines! So this port is a welcome one :)

That's all for this month, and see you next month!
