Indonesian People Have Been Propagandized About the 30 September Movement for Years

For years, Indonesian people have been propagandized about the 30 September Movement on 30 September-1 October, 1965 (which killed six generals) which is always said to be carried out by the Communist Party of Indonesia. 

As the result of that accusation, the Indonesian government through its army, carried out mass killings targeting members and sympathizers or, let's say, alleged sympathizers of the party which resulted in the deaths of 500,000 to 1,000,000 people.

I'm not a communist but what the Indonesian government did at that time was a crime against humanity, the history of it has mostly been erased or skipped. A black stain in the history of the Republic of Indonesia, very bad.

I don't want to go into too much detail about this since I'm still an Indonesian citizen, I also generally don't really like talking about the government of the Republic of Indonesia, it's not comfortable for me. I hope that this country can become better in the future.
