Ooh I would rec Doki Doki Literature Club if you havent already xD. Otherwise I liked Cinderella Phenomenon and then Milky Way Prince. I have a WHOLE list of bl visual novels that arent on steam which are more story inclined games with a side dish of choosing your partner and romance so lemme know if you want em! owo

Only free dating Sim I know is "I Love You, Colonel Sanders!". It's on Steam.
There are plenty of free translated horror games on vgperson's website (just type in that name and it'll show up). There's also a website on blogger called Tosiaki that has other translated horror games too. Just type in that name and look for a blogger icon. These are all RPG Maker horror games, though. Pocket Mirror on itch.io is also free.
