looking into norse myths and stuff

It’s been a second since I’ve made a post cause school and all that but during that time I’ve gotten into paganism and mythology again. 

I just find paganism interesting and the worship of multiple gods. (Not saying all pagans worship gods and goddesses.) but I recently fell into the Norse pipeline and I honestly find it really captivating. The myths are the main thing I’m looking into at the moment, and they are so fun. 

I originally got into myths when I was a kid (like any kid) I was super into Egyptian mythology and when I had this whole museum DIY class project about Egypt and the gods and goddesses I was ecstatic. I even made the sphinx out of air dry clay and drew Anubis on this giant poster board. Besides that another memory I have was reading Edith Hamilton’s book about Greek myths in 8th grade. And I loved this book. I was obsessed with it, and would read it whenever I could. A lot of it I already knew but it’s nice to get a refresher and to actually read instead of listening to or watching a video.

This brings me back to Norse mythology and getting back into paganism. I find the practice of witchcraft and paganism very interesting. I mainly am fascinated by god and goddess worship and less into spell work, just the thought of being able to contact (probably not the right word? Idk?) different gods and goddesses from all these pantheons is so cool to me. 

I thought about actually getting into the practice and just doing basic worship and start growing plants again to gain some sort of footing with nature itself. And I will say, ever since getting into Norse and the mythology I have been picked up in a way?(idk how else to describe it)

Maybe that’s a coincidence? Maybe not. But I’m currently just sticking to reading/listening about Norse myths until I figure out if this is something I want to dive into cause I’ve never really had a religion before? So worship in of itself is new to me. But I’ll get there when I get there. I’m just taking small steps since I’ve been busy with school and work :P

I will try to post more blogs cause I have so many thoughts and ideas that would be fun to write down but I’ll have to see what happens lol.
