 You were the deep ocean inviting me to swim,

your waves lulled me with promises of eternity.

I dove in with such trust, thinking I’d find peace, but in your currents,

I only saw storms of cruelty.

Your crystal-clear waters hid a dark bottom,

every whisper of your seas dragged me into the purest abyss.

I sailed without a compass, lost in your vastness,

and when I tried to escape, your waves drowned me in solitude.

You were a beacon that shone only to blind me,

a safe harbor that never truly existed.

Now, on the shore, I contemplate your vast deception,

and I declare that I will no longer drown in your falsehoods.

Let silence take over your voice,

and may my name never again dwell on your lips,

for on your tongue, you unleash treacherous currents.

The sound of your voice echoes bitterly, every syllable pulling me deeper,

and I don’t want to sink again into what I never was.
