first update here on my novel

hello spacehey. if any of you are my existing friends then you know this. if you don't know me then you don't.

i am writing a book and my other tab right now is the google doc it is in. last month or so i've been working on chapter seven but progress has been slower than i would want because of school. if anyone reading this is interested then i can send you the 6 chapters that have been finished, what comes next is that premise piece (like what you put on the back of the book)

A glass’s fate is to break.
    Orta dominated their continent because they did what no other kingdom could. Powerful magic-wielding Acris united with the common Scelas to create an army unmatched by any other. For centuries, they ruled with a dual throne. The rare peace between the two peoples persisted, until recently. Slowly, Scelas normalized distrust against Acris and their magic, until it became something thought to have always existed.
    With the health of the Acri King in question and his only heir having died three years past, tension is at an all-time high. The recent invention of mysterious weapons that harness every Acri’s one great weakness, fire, only makes it worse.
    In the midst of this are four Acris forced together by unfortunate circumstances and a shared mission to save their people from what may be annihilation. At the same time, a Scela tries to find a place in a world in which neither side truly accepts her. It won’t be easy for either. Setback and death haunt them at every turn, but both will find a way.
    Or die trying.
