Review 15: ULTRAKILL

What is ULTRAKILL?

ULTRAKILL is a fast-paced retro FPS. Having inspirations by Devil May Cry and Quake creating the devilmayquake link (which leads you straight to the steam page). Another quick fact the link: waste.money leads straight to the New Blood store (the publishers of ULTRAKILL). Back to what is ULTRAKILL, you play as a machine known as V1 currently travelling to Hell inorder to kill more. The main reason V1 needs to kill more is due to its design, V1 was made to use blood as a fuel so to keep itself around it goes to hell inorder to keep gaining blood to keep going. On your adventure you’ll meet different demons, angels, husks, other machines and bosses. 

What brought me to ULTRAKILL?

Unsurprisingly it was another game that just appeared on my steam home page. Another thing was from the youtube channel Maxor, but I gave myself the challenge to complete the acts then watch the actual videos to not spoil anything.

Where can you play it?

Currently the prelude demo is on Itch.io and steam and the full game is on Steam.

Would I recommend it?

Well if you’re a fan of more fast paced shooters like doom eternal I would fully recommend this game or if you’re a fan of speedrunning games.
