POSTING LETTERS IS SO STRESSFUL

I posted my FIRST EVER letter today and I felt like death every second of it dude. Writing the letter and stamping it was whatever but when it came to actually POSTING it, holy shit.

I think this would be less stressful if I had normal parents and lived in a normal household but my parents would’ve killed me(exaggerated) if they knew I was texting a dude, much less SENDING HIM A WHOLE ASS LETTER!!

Driving there was so stressful, I drove to the best of my abilities because I was so scared a radar or something would give me a ticket and it’ll get sent to dad that I’m not in uni, I’m actually somewhere else doing god knows what!!

The lady at the post office was so nice but I feel like she was judging my letter posting abilities the whole time…”oh who is this for?” “Ummmmmmmm..it’s a letter for my friend..” “oh wow, and what’s inside the envelope?” WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHATS INSIDE!? A LETTER! I’m about to pop a blood vessel don’t interrogate me dude.

She’s asking me stuff like “have you considered opening a PO box?” Or “Do you have your friend’s number, it’s not written on the envelope” and I’m sweating like a sinner in church please please please just weight the letter, take my money and let me LEAVE.

This was not worth it, letters aren’t as romantic as people are making them out to be.
