I recently played this Postal fan game and I felt like talking about it, so here goes my point of view :)
Story
WATCH IT, MENTION OF SA!
Eternal Damnation's story is about John;the protagonist, scaping from an asylum just to find the town full of zombies, so he visits his gilfriend Lorie, who used to be a witch in highschool.
Then he visits his father to ask him why did he forbade him see his gilfriend when he was in highschool. His father confesses that she was supposedly been sexually assaulted by the priest Father Winston when she was in highschool and he wanted to potrect him.
John makes his way to the cathedral for justice, mad because he deeply trusted Father Winston. He shots Winston before he can say anything, but before dying, Father Winston explains that he never did anything to Lorie, he was just trying to help her by perfoming an exorcism after she was possessed by a demon who he couldn't get out of her since he was interrupted.
After that, John fights agaisnt the demon that possessed his girlfriend after watching her sacrifice his father, he claims to not be a savior and it's over.
To me, the game and the story reminds me a lot to the first Postal game, playing it feels kinda like a Postal Dude's nightmare and I like that, like the Postal Dude could easily be the protagonist since the story is also very related to religious stuff.
Gameplay
The game is mostly killing zombies, which is not bad, I had fun... But there's moments where it just becomes annoying to be honest.
The weapons were fun to use, but they run out very quickly. Maybe it was my fault, but i felt like i couldn't use them when I needed them the most, I had to use the same bat everytime because that's kinda the only way to kill the zombies when you don't have any gun or anything similar.
Scenarios
I really liked the scenarios, but there's something that to me is a problem, they're not as explorable as the Postal scenarios and there isn't a lot of weapons or things that could help you, like the blood. I died lots of times because there weren't enough blood bags.
Also there was this specific scenario that I fully DESPISE. The mall, I think, OMG HOW I HATED THIS SCENARIO, I don't know if I'm too dumb, but for a long time I was STUCK in the same places, I couldn't find a way to get out, I was about to quit to be honest.
Though, as I said before, the graphics are still pretty nice, even better than Postal. They made a good atmosphere, specially in the asylum and the cathedral, my personal favorites.
Character Design
Ok... I don't think there's much to say about the designs than they're fine, not bad but not amazing.
John design is good, though the beta one seemed more original in my point of view, look at him! Nice outfit...
Lorie looks like your tipical "goth" girl XD though I liked to see a female model that differentiated from the rest.
But if there's a design that I consider the WORSE is the demon girl, I don't even think I can show pictures of her- but she's literally just a naked woman painted in red with horns and just that, like come on, you could have done way more than whatever the hell that was...
The Devil and the zombies were probably the best, even if the zombies aren't that good to fight.

8/10
It's a fun game, really, just not my favorite thing. The story is okay, the gameplay is also pretty good, but I'm personally not a big fan of games where you mainly fight zombies.
At the end of the day, this game is old as hell and based on Postal lol
Do I recommend it? ABSOLUTELY, go for it!It's fun to entertain yourself for a while.
AAAAAND that was all! I really wanted to make this blog because is kinda Postal related, AND I SWEAR I'LL MAKE MORE ABOUT POSTAL STUFF!!
