fig tree except I eat all the figs and I am the tree

When someone asks me what I want to be but I want to be a foley artist, SF urban planner, food critic traveling around the world with 2000s style blog, cruise ship entertainer, bartender, product manager in Taiwan, DJ in Shanghai, restaurant owner, independent director, hairdresser, editor for ads, chocolatier, designer for snack/drink goods packaging, video game designer, background actor of a movie, casting director, bass player of an underground band, trumpet player at a jazz bar, casual streamer.

I've never read the Bell Jar. I did think about Fran Bow in her tree form. I don't like how sad the metaphor is. Why can we only pluck one fig? I like to imagine that If we are the trees, then we have a long life ahead of us and that we can live as many lives as we want! The more we grow, the more branches and opportunities we will get to experience. It make me feel hopeful that there are so many possibilities that I can achieve and experience even if most of these were written just for fun. The list will grow!

I actually did get to be a background actor for a movie this past year! It was really fun seeing how everything worked behind the scenes and plus it was my first time talking to a famous person. I'm excited to take my chances on more and more life experiences! I look forward to growing old and living.
