"Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Dead" MOVIE REVIEW+THEORY

I watched "Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Dead" last night!

Overall score: 4/5 ☆

This movie ROCKS! the only reason its not 5 stars is because it can be hard to follow. It is so absurd and funny and cute though! I love the acting, I love all the bits, it's very good! But I may be biased bc Hamlet is my FAV Shakespeare play! I haven't read the play yet but I'm gonna soon :D

OK THEORY TIME!

so I have a theory that the title is actually correct ("Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are dead" is a line from the og Hamlet play fyi). I THINK that they are dead the whole time! there is so much absurdism in the movie (i.e. flipping heads 100 times in a row). So they are dead and this is like... purgatory or something, and when they die at the end, that's them getting sent to heaven/hell. IDK its just a theory might update when I read the play
