soccer coaches

my little sibling is on a soccer team, and one of the coaches sucks. He sucks so much in fact that i want to scream in his ears and remove my sibling from his team. This coach always puts my sibling down when they're doing awesome at the sport and it's getting to the point where they're not putting in any effort during games because they know he's just going to reprimand them for it. it makes unbelievably angry every time i see his face. and i know for a fact that this guy is reprimanding my sibling every time he talks to them because i used to be on the team they are and he did the same thing to me. it's literally only because we're aggressive when playing the sport. he used to tell me when i yelled that i was being too aggressive and scaring the other players, but they needed someone actually telling them what to do. despite his title, this man did. not. coach. watching my sibling's game today gave me a bit of ptsd and made me want to write this so

if you're planning on coaching a team of CHILDREN, make sure you're actually coaching them and not just tearing them down. they're just kids, and most of the time, it really doesn't matter.
