Ok, so... Y'all are gonna know that I am OBSESSED with pirates.

I don't know why this is, I just am. This obsession just keeps on coming back.

And cuz of this obsession, I have been trying to make pirate-based OC's, cursed sea gods to torment said OC's, and try world-building for the first time.

Yay.

Here are the pirate characters I have.

Lucian

- "Lu" or "Lucy"

- Captain of the "Spirit" (Name is still under consideration)

- Cooks for the crew sometimes

- Specializes in gunmanship

- Is actually secretly a privateer

- Hunted by the Clam god of the sea, who represents sexuality, persistence, and prosperity

Cassandro

- "Cas" or "Casanova"

- Ships quartermaster (The second in command, and is responsible for the crew when not in action and decides the proper disciplines for the crew, including the captain)

- Heavy believer of fate (mainly due to the island he grew up in having a prominent belief system towards future reading. IE: Tarot cards and palm reading and such.)

- Does not know that Lucian is a Privateer.

- He kinda just disappears sometimes. No one knows where tho.

- Hunted by the Coral Goddess of the sea, who represents immortality and beauty.

Barnabus

- "Barny"

- Ship's Boatswain (Keeps the ships maintenance and seamanship in top shape. Sometimes administers the punishments that the Quartermaster decides on.)

- Used to be trapped on a slave ship, but got away and got recruited to Lucian and Cassandro's crew.

- Has no tongue, so he can't verbally speak. But Lucian ensured to teach Barnabus and everyone in the crew ASL.

- Animals seem to like him a lot.

- Hunted by the Crab God of the sea, who represents resilience and protection

That's their basic info. I have more but I'll save that for later.

I don't have final sketches for the Gods, only messy concept sketches. I wanna make them look creepy, gross, but powerful and ethereal at the same time. I'll post them when I'm happy with their appearance.

As for the world-building, I am STRUGGLING.

I made a map of "The Four Corners", the world where this whole thing takes place, and I have the basic outlines for 3 of the five islands down. I just need to figure put the last two and figure out a proper history timeline.

The amount of Pirate history I've read is insane.

ANYWAY- I just wanted to babble about my pirate OC's and thank you for listening! I'll probably talk about these guys or another OC/OC group again.
